Quality InspectorTRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for two Quality Inspectors in Corinth, MS. These are 1st shift positions (core hours 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). The pay is $18.50.Reports to Site Supervisor/Site LeadsClient Relationship & Business DevelopmentThe Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.OperationsThe Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.Organization & ManagementCommunicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.TechnicalMUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.Knowledge, skills, abilitiesHard skills· Proficiency in English· Excellent written and verbal communications skills· Ability to Coordinate, prioritize and multitask· Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced, challenging environment· Ability to take initiative and recognize needs· Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material· Ability lift /move 30 pounds· Must have reliable transportationWork experienceOverall recommendations1+ year in Quality related position. Basic knowledge of materials and production processes. Basic knowledge of quality control methods.
