Quality Inspector - 1st ShiftEaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Quality Inspector - 1st Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA!This is a 1st shift position with core hours of 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.Join Eaton and enjoy great benefits, meaningful perks, and a workplace that supports your well-being from day one!What You'll Do:The Quality Inspector conducts receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace engine components to verify conformance with design requirements and customer specifications. Responsibilities include dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision inspection equipment. The role requires the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, understand and apply GD&T requirements, and evaluate product characteristics against aerospace standards and specifications. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of inspection methodologies, quality assurance principles, and aerospace manufacturing processes while maintaining accurate inspection records and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Safety Sensitive Position – Drug & Alcohol Testing This position is classified as a safety sensitive role under applicable U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a DOT required pre employment drug test. Individuals hired into this role remain subject to ongoing drug and/or alcohol testing, including random testing, in accordance with federal regulations. Additional information is available from the site Designated Employer Representative (DER) or the FAA Drug Abatement Division: About the Drug Abatement Division | Federal Aviation Administration.In this role, you will:Read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipmentUse knowledge of measurement systems and techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Be familiar with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100Interact with co-workers and customer representativePerform verification inspection of Eaton's supplier's detailed componentsPerform verification inspection of Eaton's product for compliance to customer's requirementsAssist customer source inspectors as requiredQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.Minimum of two (2) years experience in manufacturing and/or military environmentMinimum of two (2) years experience reading and interpreting blueprints.This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random testing under our Drug and Alcohol Abatement program.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
