Throughout our history, we've built a corporate culture based on reliability and superior performance – from our innovative technologies to the people behind them.The Quality Inspector helps ensure that products and processes meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while learning and supporting the team's continuous improvement efforts.Responsibilities will include:Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products for compliance with specifications and requirementsRecord inspection data, test results, and audit documentation accurately and on timeReport defects, quality concerns, and trends to the QA ManagerAssist with investigations of quality issues and support corrective action follow-upWork closely with Production and Engineering teams to flag and resolve quality concernsFollow established quality procedures and help identify opportunities for process improvementParticipate in daily and weekly QA meetingsSupport a positive, safe, and productive work environmentComplete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on timeMonitor lab and inspection supplies and report needs to the QA ManagerLearn to use inspection tools, gauges, and quality software as part of on-the-job trainingWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a technical or quality field a plus1–2 years of quality, manufacturing, or inspection experienceAbility to read engineering drawings, or willingness to learnComfortable using basic inspection tools (calipers, gauges) or willingness to learnBasic computer skills, including Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learnGood communication skills and ability to work well in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with quality concepts (ISO 9001, Lean, root cause analysis) a plus, not requiredPrior experience in manufacturing or industrial settingsThe Benefits of Working for API!Benefits eligibility Day 1Generous PTO Plan - Earn vacation immediately.Attendance Bonuses Paid11 Paid Holidays401k Plan with company matchEqual Employment Opportunity: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.If you are an individual with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, or are limited in the ability or unable to access or use this online application process and need an alternative method for applying, you may contact API Heat Transfer at for assistance.
