Quality InspectorSite A — GFTX Main Plant (Austin, TX)Position OverviewWe are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to support operations at our Tesla Austin, TX facility. Provide quality services and support for all missions assigned to this manufacturing site while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment. This role is critical to ensuring product quality and maintaining production standards in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.If you're someone who notices the small things others miss, this is your lane.Reports to: Site Supervisor/Site LeadersKey ResponsibilitiesAct as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteriaPerform visual inspections on automotive parts and materialsIdentify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming productsSort, rework, and document defective itemsRead and follow work instructions and general processesUse measuring or testing equipment and tools as needed, including tasks like assembling or disassembling components such as wiring harnessesFollow work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standardsDisplay excellent customer serviceMaintain a clean and organized work areaCommunicate issues to team leads and supervisorsCollect and record dataUtilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgementsAny other duties as assigned
