Job description

Quality InspectorWe are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector who is familiar with Brake Press machines, measuring angles, and proficient in using hand and power tools, mics, calipers, and protractors. A basic understanding of high school math is essential. You will follow engineering drawings to ensure their accuracy for the parts. Experience in sheet metal is highly desirable.ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections of parts through different stages of production to confirm conformance to specifications.Record inspection results and prepare documentation.Communicate with stakeholders as required.Perform other duties as required.Be willing to be cross-trained and able to lift up to 35 pounds.Essential SkillsQuality inspectionBlueprint readingProficiency with micrometers, calipers, and tape measuresGeneral labor skillsVisual inspectionQuality checkProduction knowledgeQuality control and assuranceAssembly and final inspection skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience with inspection tools (calipers, height gauge, micrometers) preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredAbility to read and comprehend work instructions, blueprints, and drawingsAbility to stand and walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of timePhysical capability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, twist, bend, and carry partsBasic math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide)Basic computer skills (ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel)Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a teamDetail-oriented and dependableAbility to cross-train in other departments and work overtime as neededWhy Work Here?Join a growing business with numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
