Quality InspectorTrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc is searching for a talented team player to fill the open role of 1st shift Career QA Inspector at our Shell Rock, IA facility. The Career Quality Inspector position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you'll make visual/measured inspection/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements. You will complete inspection records and reports and follow appropriate codes and regulations.What you'll do:Proficiently utilize inspection tools and/or measuring equipmentUnderstand and apply quality science and toolsPerform as Welding Inspector Specialist (WIS) level II or Quality Inspection Specialist (QIS) level II or able to achieve in 6 monthsWork under the supervision of a Level 2 certified inspectorFollow all safety rules and practicesParticipate in the learning/certification processPerform other duties as assignedWhat you'll need:Some experience in Quality proceduresFamiliarity with Rail CarsGood knowledge of the job, company policies and processesSome understanding of the technical aspects of the jobAbility to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures1-2 years of related experiencePrimary Location: US-IA-Shell RockWork Locations: Shell Rock IA - Plant th Street Shell Rock 50670Job: QualityOrganization: United StatesSchedule: RegularShift: StandardEmployee Status: Non-ManagementJob Type: Full-timeJob Level: Day Job
