Join a growing, industry-leading aerospace manufacturer where your work makes an impact and your career can take off.Quality Inspector reports to the Quality Manager and ensures parts and processes meet the requirements of operation work instructions, customer requirements including the drawing. The schedule for this position is 1st shift, Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pmEssential Responsibilities:Inspects and approves incoming materials/parts by confirming to work instructions, drawings, specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials/ partsInspects in-process & final production parts by confirming to work instructions, specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, recording non-conforming parts in the appropriate databaseMaintain records of testing and information such as number of defective products, dimensional results, etc. in accordance with the Quality proceduresKeeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairsAbility to complete DSQR training and earn DSQR certification to meet customer requirementsUse inspection equipment & automated systems to perform part inspectionsAccomplish (Verify) first piece at the operation which approves the parts to be processedConveys verbally and/or in writing, the condition of the parts being inspectedUtilize electronic databases for submitting non conformances or obtaining work instructionsPerforms administrative duties consistent with departmental practicesFollows all safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications:High School diploma or GED with excellent working knowledge of trigonometry.Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing including operational inspection or supporting quality inspection utilizing hand held gages.Knowledge and ability to apply GD&TDSQR/DPRV experience preferredAbility to read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for parts or materialsBasic computer skills including data entryReads and interprets customer and industry specifications.Benefits: Enjet offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees including paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid holidays, a 401K retirement plan, disability insurance, and more.As an EOE/AA employer, Enjet Aero will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant's race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, veteran status, marital status or physical challenges.
