Quality InspectorTOPS Staffing is hiring a Quality Inspector for a well-established manufacturing company in the Irwin area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with machining or manufacturing quality experience who enjoys precision measuring, blueprint reading, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.Schedule & Pay:Monday – Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4 x 10-hour schedule)Overtime available on Fridays usually half day can be required when busy.Pay: Up to $25.00/hour, based on experienceBonus Opportunity: Once hired directly by the company, production employees are eligible for an annual performance bonus that has exceeded $6,000 per year.What You'll DoPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on machined componentsInspect parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, profilometers, and other inspection toolsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsVerify parts meet dimensional and quality requirementsComplete inspection reports and quality documentation accuratelyIdentify and document non-conforming materialsWork closely with machining and production teams to resolve quality concernsMaintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work areaWhat We're Looking ForMinimum of 2 years of quality inspection or machine shop experience, or equivalent technical trainingAbility to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawingsExperience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometersExperience using a Faro Arm is preferred, but not requiredFamiliarity with inspection documentation and quality proceduresBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office); ERP experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shiftLift up to 40 pounds as neededWork in a manufacturing environment while following all safety procedures4-day workweek with three-day weekends most weeksOvertime available to increase earningsCompetitive pay up to $25.00/hourAnnual production bonus that can exceed $6,000Stable manufacturing company with long-term career opportunitiesTeam-oriented work environment with opportunities to grow your skills
