Quality Inspector / Electrical Assurance TechnicianVolt is immediately hiring a Quality Inspector / Electrical Assurance Technician for a manufacturing environment in Houston, TX 77039. As a Quality Inspector / Electrical Assurance Technician, you will:Perform quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instrumentsConduct electrical function testing, visual inspections, and dimensional inspections on raw castings, switch-racks, and work-in-process materialsLead and perform First Article Inspections (FAI), incoming receiving inspections, and final product inspectionsComplete routine manufacturing process and quality auditsVerify products conform to engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and tolerance requirementsIdentify, document, and report quality issues and non-conforming materialsGenerate and maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and quality recordsTrack and maintain quality assurance documentation and inspection dataCoordinate the calibration and recalibration of inspection and measurement equipmentCollaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concernsParticipate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiativesSupport additional quality and inspection activities as assignedWork overtime as needed to support production schedulesThis is a full-time opportunity.Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PMThe ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious experience as a Quality Inspector, QA Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, Manufacturing Inspector, or Quality TechnicianExperience reading engineering drawings, blueprints, and specificationsStrong understanding of dimensional inspection techniques and measuring instrumentsAbility to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standardsStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentBasic computer and data entry skillsPay Rate: $20.61 to $22.22 per hourBenefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
