InspectorsEastern Staffing & Recruiting is hiring Inspectors for our client in Broome County, NY! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Inspectors. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality/inspecting with 2-4 years of hands on quality inspection in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. This person inspects incoming parts, checks for accuracy during production and performs final tests prior to shipment. They will maintain quality records, troubleshoot concerns and work closely with production to keep processes compliant with company standards. We are seeking a candidate that is a self-starter, team oriented and has strong problem solving skills.ResponsibilitiesManaging daily inspection activities to meet schedule requirementsParticipate in a team environment including continuous improvementWork closely with internal staff and customers to resolve quality issuesAdditional responsibilities as required.RequirementsStrong understanding of quality inspection processes and standards.Experience with optical comparator, calipers, micrometers and pin gages.Knowledge of machining and fabrication processes.Ability to read and interpret blue prints.CMM experience with any software is beneficial.Basic computer skills including Excel and other MS Office applications is useful.Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50 per hour, though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
