Quality Inspector PositionPeak Workforce Solutions (Newbold) is hiring dedicated and dependable individuals for Quality Inspector positions in Laurens, SC.Pay Rate: $18/hr, $2.50 shift premium for second and third shift.Hours:First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, M-F)Second Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, M-F)Third Shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am, M-F)Responsibilities:Evaluate product dimensionally and visually to assure that product meets customer requirements.Maintain lot identity and appropriate paperwork.Pull random samples and perform visual and dimensional audits.Sort and inspect non-conforming units.Perform verifications of incoming materials (laser blanks, metal for assembly, plastic components).Ability to work in a team environment.Read blueprints.Requirements:Inspection experience using a microscope.Experience operating small equipment.Ability and desire to learn and perform metallization application processes and operations.High School graduate or GED equivalentBasic math and communication skillsMust have excellent Hand/Eye CoordinationMust have correctable 20/20 visionStanding, sitting, walking, bending and some liftingBenefits for working for Newbold Services:Weekly pay periods every FridayPaid vacation and approved time offSupplemental medical, vision, dental, life insurance and short-term disability available at start of employment!
