Job description

Quality InspectorAcutronic is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies for conformance to company standards. Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience in quality control.Your Roles/Responsibilities:Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsChecks randomly selected samples and verifies the accuracy of equipment or processUses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programsKeeps records and makes reports indicating the results of inspectionsIdentifies and marks non-conforming materialsRemoves minor defects such as chips and burrsExecutes First Article Inspection requirementsParticipates in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) and NCs (Non-Conformances)Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairsNotifies supervisor or other personnel of production problemsReports conditions requiring immediate repairYour Profile/Qualifications/Skills:High school diploma, or equivalent, requiredAt least two years of related experience, preferredExperience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments, strongly preferredA combination of experience and education will be consideredHaving knowledge in operating and programming CMM is a plusExperience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma is a plusWe Offer:Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance401k matchCompany-paid holidays4/10 scheduleAbout Acutronic: The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
