Quality InspectorAscentec is hiring! Do you have strong attention to detail skills? We are looking for Quality Inspectors to join our team! This critical position within the company presents a great opportunity for someone to provide final assurance to all our valued customers that their products are being provided with the highest level of quality possible. This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) at our Dallas, Oregon facility and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.Job Responsibilities: To include but not limited to the following:Receiving, In-process and Final inspectionsPrimary operator for the dedicated metrology equipment – Optical comparator etc.Job Qualifications / Experience and Technical Skills:Ability to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer provided mechanical prints including GD&TBasic experience with a wide variety of metrology equipment including Optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.Visual Product Inspections – Surface Cosmetics of Plated/Painted and bare material partsExperience with operating manual and/or automated CMM a plusGenerate Clear and concise Non-conformance ReportsAbility to work overtimePreference will be given to candidates with prior machinist experiencePersonal Qualifications:Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail OrientedReliable and dependablePositive customer focused attitudeEnjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environmentHonest with stellar integrityProfessional demeanor and respectful to people in all situationsFlexible and willing to help others as needs and tasks change oftenTeam playerCompensation/Benefits:$16 to $21 per hour DOE401k with company match up to 4%Tiered Quarterly Bonus ProgramShort-term and Long-term DisabilityTuition ReimbursementLife InsurancePaid time off / paid holidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramsApplicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.Ascentec Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with Ascentec Engineering is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.
