Come build your career with BAE Systems.As an inspector, you will support Quality directly on the manufacturing floor, performing in-process and final inspections for various assemblies throughout their manufacturing processes to ensure the product is free of defects. All aspects of the product are evaluated, including circuit card assemblies, solder joints, adhesive applications, and hardware builds through visual inspection and the use of microscopes, gauges, and other inspection tools as required. The process and part documentation are also reviewed in detail to ensure accuracy and compliance to requirements. Other Quality functions such as process auditing and continuous improvement activities are also supported. The role is in a manufacturing team environment in collaboration with Quality Engineering, Operations, and Process Engineering. Work is performed in various factory areas, inclusive of cleanrooms requiring gowning.Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsHigh school diploma or GED1-3 years of experience directly related to quality inspection or quality controlStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with various technical documents (specifications, drawings, process sheets, etc.)High proficiency with electronically documenting data/findings and using databasesExperience using a microscopeMust be able to obtain a secret level security clearancePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills3 years of related experienceKnowledge of and experience with electronics manufacturing in accordance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standardsExisting IPC-A-610 CertificationSecret level security clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $57319 - $91710Employee Benefits: At BAE Systems, we support our employees in all aspects of their life, including their health and financial well-being.
