As part of Permag, EEC leverages deep materials expertise and vertically integrated capabilities to deliver high-performance magnetic solutions.Job Description:Inspector level 1 is primarily responsible for magnetizing parts, stabilization, and magnetic inspections using Helmholtz coils and gauss probes.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Required operations:MagnetizationMagnetic inspection Helmholtz coilGauss probe (operates)LVFS (operates)Visual inspection MicroscopePart marking Manual markingLaser markingMark inspectionOther responsibilities:Ensure proper polarity per part printStabilize material post saturationRecord sample data per magnetic inspection. Process 100% inspection when applicableRecord information on routersEpicor transactionsBasic blueprint readingDesired additional operations:Magnetic inspectionLVFS (set up)Styker magnetic inspection robotM-Axis plotter (operating)Rotor plotter (operating)MagnetizeLarge magnetizerMagnetic adjustingHigh volume auto magnetizerMechanical inspectionLevel 2 inspector toolsIntermediate blueprint readingCompiling customer documentationGenerates NCMR paperwork.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.Successful Essential Behaviors:Sense of urgency and ability to work at a quick pace.Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards and regulations.Collaborative team player.Upholds organizational values and demonstrates integrity in all aspects of work.Possesses a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.Demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude toward achieving goals.Work Environment and Physical Demands:Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and occasional noise.Requires standing, stooping, bending, sitting, and lifting to 40 lbs.Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for detailed work.Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with safety and quality regulations.2nd shift- Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm-1:30 am 40 hours
