Quality Inspector Level IWe are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector I for a manufacturing/fabrication environment. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: $20.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Department: Quality / ProductionPosition SummaryThe Quality Inspector will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured parts and finished products. This position requires someone who can confidently use precision measuring tools, read mechanical drawings, and identify quality issues.Essential FunctionsInspect incoming materials, manufactured parts, and finished productsIdentify, document, and control non-conforming productsPerform final inspections before products are released for shipmentUse calipers, micrometers, rulers, tape measures, precision squares, and gaugesRead and interpret mechanical drawingsMaintain accurate inspection and quality recordsOperate forklifts and overhead cranes as requiredFollow established safety and ISO 9001 quality proceduresSkills & Experience Required3–5 years of welding and/or quality control experience in manufacturing or fabricationExperience using precision inspection and measuring toolsAbility to read and understand mechanical drawingsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.High school diploma or equivalentPreferred: Welding, forklift, and/or overhead crane experience or certifications.
