QC Inspector For ManufacturingThe QC Inspector for manufacturing ensures all manufacturing fabrications, components, assemblies and finished products meet required quality standards before progressing through production or release.Full Time, FLSA Non-Exempt13210 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, TX 78224JCB offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401 (k) retirement plan; paid time off and paid holidays.Applications will be accepted through Careers | JCB Careers | JCB Jobs | JCB or via LinkedIn. The anticipated application window will close on October 14, 2026.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesInspect components and assemblies to quality standards for manufacturing.Interpret good quality vs bad quality welds.Read and interpret drawings, specifications and ensuring the product has been welded correctly.Perform basic weld, dimensional and visual inspections using gauges and measuring tools.Identify, record and report nonconformances.Support defect resolution and root cause analysis.Complete inspection records and quality documentation.Ensure compliance with quality procedures.Maintain safe and organised inspection areas.Other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsExperience in quality inspection or quality control.Experience within a welding manufacture environment.Basic GD&T knowledge.Ability to read engineering drawings.Strong attention to detail.Understanding of quality standards.Preferred QualificationsQuality or fabrication qualification.Experience using measurement equipment.Experience in manufacturing environments.Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.Effective communicator with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to quality excellence.Demonstrates urgency and initiative in problem-solving and task execution.Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & CompetenciesInspection and measurement skills.Strong attention to detail.Basic weld principles.Basic GD&T.Clear communication.Methodical and organised approach.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.Job ConditionsManufacturing/Weld environment.Subject to noise and temperature changes.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
