Inspection Services PositionThis position will provide inspection services for our products to be delivered with the correct specifications for customers. Responsibilities include:Inspecting incoming, in-process and final productsCollecting and maintaining certs & COC's from vendorsWriting non-conformances for vendor-supplied itemsFiling, word processing, copying, and emailingAdditional items as assigned by managerPrincipal contacts inside/outside the company:This position interacts with Supervisors, Quality Manager, Engineers, Project Managers and other Armor employees as necessary. This position also works with customers on issues and concerns that may occur.Competency or position requirements:Must be organized and efficientHave analytical skillsCorrect gauging approach to perform the metrologyBlue print readingGood verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced knowledge and proficiency with MS OfficeAble to handle multiple and changing responsibilitiesAll Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being:Customer FocusedPassionate about WorkSolution OrientedDriven by IntegrityEducation and/or experience:High School diploma or GED equivalentTwo year degree preferred3+ years of inspection experience required, including all common precision hand gages and techniques1+ years of experience minimum in fixture design and fabricationEquipment used:Personal Computer, Fax Machine, Telephone, Copier, Measurement Tools.Working and physical conditions:This position will work in an office setting and will frequently be conducting inspections in the manufacturing plant.
