Job description
Quality Services And SupportProvide quality services and support for all missions assigned to a manufacturing or warehouse site while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.Responsibilities (to include but not limited to the following):Client Relationship & Business DevelopmentAct as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteriaOperationsCheck/inspect manufactured parts or products for defectsRead and follow work instructions and general processesUse measuring or testing equipment as neededEnsure products meet quality standardsDisplay excellent customer serviceMust comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policiesOrganization & ManagementCollect and record dataTechnicalUtilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgementsOtherAny other duties as assignedKnowledge, skills, abilitiesHard skillsReports to Site Supervisor/Site LeadersInspection RequirementsThe inspection team shall perform and document the following checks on 100% of product being shipped:1. Visual InspectionVerify product is free from visible defects.Check for rust, damage, contamination, deformation, surface irregularities, or any condition that would affect fit, form, or function.2. Dimensional VerificationVerify critical dimensions against the latest approved engineering drawing/print.Any parts found outside specification shall be segregated and reported immediately to the supplier3. Identification and Label VerificationVerify all labels are accurate and legible.Confirm part numbers match customer requirements.Verify quantities are correct.4. Skid/Bundle IdentificationEach skid, bundle, or banded unit must be individually identified.Labels must include at minimum:Part NumberQuantityAny required or traceability information - ie: Sales Order, etc...
