Job description
OQC Quality InspectorIntelliPro Group is looking for an OQC Quality Inspector to support quality control activities for finished products at our client's manufacturing operations in Mesquite, Texas.The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting outgoing quality inspections, supporting shipment control, verifying corrective actions, and working closely with production and quality teams to identify and resolve quality issues.This role is well suited for someone with hands-on experience in quality inspection, manufacturing environments, measurement tools, and quality improvement activities.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct sampling inspections of finished products to ensure product quality meets customer requirements and established quality standards.Manage the shipment control system and analyze, track, and follow up on the effectiveness of corrective actions.Ensure inspection equipment and measurement instruments meet required specifications and are properly maintained and used.Verify corrective actions related to customer complaints and drive and follow up on problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.Drive and follow up on corrective actions for quality issues identified by OQC within the production workshop.Work with responsible departments to ensure identified quality issues are addressed and effective corrective actions are implemented.Develop and implement an annual training plan for employees within the module/production area.Organize quality-related training sessions and conduct relevant assessments to ensure employees understand applicable quality requirements and procedures.Maintain appropriate quality inspection records and documentation.Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings to relevant production and quality team members.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, inspection processes, and production operations.Perform other quality-related tasks and duties assigned by the supervisor.Key QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Additional education or training in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing quality, or a related field.Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.Experience with outgoing quality control (OQC), finished-product inspection, or shipment quality inspection is an asset.Technical KnowledgeProficient in using inspection and measurement instruments such as: MicrometersVernier calipersPoint gaugesOther standard quality inspection and measurement equipmentAbility to understand and follow inspection specifications, quality requirements, and procedures.Proficient in Microsoft Office and other commonly used office software.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results and quality issues.Language RequirementsCandidates should be able to communicate effectively in English.Spanish and/or Chinese language skills are considered an asset.Key CompetenciesStrong sense of responsibility and accountability.Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.Ability to identify quality issues and follow through on corrective actions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with production, quality, and other cross-functional teams.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Willingness to work rotating shifts and extended hours when required.Willingness to travel when required by the business.Working ConditionsManufacturing/production environment.Ability to work rotating shifts as required.Extended hours may occasionally be required based on production and business needs.Travel may be required depending on business requirements.The role may involve standing, walking, and working around manufacturing and production equipment.Why Join IntelliPro Group?IntelliPro Group is a global talent solutions and workforce services organization supporting clients across technology, engineering, manufacturing, professional services, and other industries.Our teams work closely with clients to understand their workforce needs and deliver qualified talent through a combination of recruitment, staffing, and workforce solutions.At IntelliPro Group, we value accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
