Quality InspectorPrideStaff is working with a large manufacturing facility in search of several Quality Inspectors. As a Quality Inspector, you will partner with assemblers, manufacturing technicians, and engineers to uphold our quality standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring exceptional product quality and a positive customer experience. The Quality Inspector is a full-time, temporary to hire position in Minneapolis, MN.Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities:Perform standard or recurring inspections such as length, dimension, and size, visual inspection for imperfections and conformance to standardsOperate fundamental equipment, such as microscope, micrometer, calipers, and gauges to perform inspection and verify conformance to standardsPerform basic calculations on test results to determine if product is within proper standardsComplete and review a variety of forms, logs, and reports detailing test results based on operating proceduresHandle and label tools, materials, and equipment according to safety and operational principles and practicesComply with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment, quality products, and efficient operationsInteract with assemblers, technicians, or other team members to communicate test results, receive guidance, and provide feedbackQuality Inspector Job Requirements & Working Conditions:High School Diploma or GED EquivalentExperience in manufacturingAbility to read, understand, write and speak English at an 8th grade level or higherAbility for visual elements, such as color, measurements and shapesPreferred Qualifications:One or more years of Inspection experience within a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret drawingsExperience using small tools such as microscopes, micrometers, calipers and pin gaugesMicrosoft office applications experience (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequentlyIPC 600, 610, or J-Std CertificationProfessional Skills Required:Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships with employees and managementStrong experience responding to and resolving questions and concernsDemonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing prioritiesAttention to detail and a focus on continuous improvementExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external customer contactAbility to pass an eye exam (with or without correction) to meet our requirements for near and color visionPrideStaff Hiring Requirements:Must be 18+ Years OldMust be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background CheckMust be Willing to Submit to a Drug ScreenMust be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.Enhance your career with a full-time job, with a great company, competitive wages, and let PrideStaff support you in your future employment endeavors.
