Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will DoThis is an amazing opportunity to work on our Operations Team as a quality inspector, in the Repair Operations division.Work applicable written inspection procedures, drawings, Engine Manuals and other pertinent instruction and/or Approved Technical Data to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gages and other equipment, accepting material or referring for rework or quality review based on findings.Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments where work instructions are well defined to check dimensions and record results.Perform necessary mathematical computations to determine extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.Follow proper procedures to perform inspection checks and verification of dimensions and make sure that Work Instructions are being followed.Recognize need and arrange for repair or replacement of measuring equipment used in performing the work as necessary.Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.Must maintain Inspection stamp.Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneouslyFlexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtimeMay be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals' skills.Reviewing Customer parts as received, and determining the start of their repair path.Receiving Inspection.Working with Legacy, Military, and GTF parts.Fri, Sat, Sun (6pm - 6:30am) - Work 36hrs get paid for 40hrsWhat You will LearnSkills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a stat of the art facility.Training and advancement opportunities at all levels through a supportive and collaborative employee experience.On -the -job training using the most advanced technology in the industry today.Qualifications You Must HaveHigh School or GEDQualifications We PreferInspection experience (Non- Aerospace acceptable)Familiar with precision measuring equipment.Communication skills, both verbal and writtenComputer skillsBasic Shop MathWhat We OfferThe salary range for this role is $17.13- $30.10. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
