Job description
Quality InspectorStep into a Quality Inspector role in Ridgeville where accuracy and pride go hand in hand. You'll spot what others miss and make sure every piece meets top standards. This opportunity lets you inspect products, verify quality standards, and help ensure every finished product meets customer expectations before it leaves the facility.Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required.Experience Requirements: Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Job Duties: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of automotive parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain accurate records of inspection results, report non-conforming parts, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts. Perform routine calibration of inspection equipment and follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). No experience necessary; training will be provided!Preferred Qualifications: Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred. Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial. Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial. Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Quality Inspector.Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift. Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
