Job description
PCB Final Visual InspectorA PCB, Final Visual Inspector is a quality control role that ensures fully manufactured circuit boards are free of defects before they ship to customers. Inspectors examine the boards under a microscope at high magnification to ensure all features meet our customers' requirements.Responsibilities include:Visual Inspection: Examine bare boards under magnification (microscopes) for workmanship defects.Defect Detection: Check for missing solder mask, features meet spec. board meets FFF.Coating and Surface Checks: Inspect the board for scratches, warpage, pitting, and proper application of protective coatings.Quality Documentation: Record inspection results, maintain accurate quality logs, and complete lot acceptance sheets.Non-Conformance Management: Tag and report defective materials or parts that fail to meet industry and customer standards.Collaboration: Work with production and engineering teams to address repeat defects and improve manufacturing yields.Requirements:HS Diploma or equivalentGood computer skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while using a microscope or magnifying equipment.Good close-up vision (with or without corrective lenses).Occasional lifting of light materials or panels (up to 25 pounds).Additional Skills Preferred (but not required):Able to read and write in English
