Quality InspectorShift: 1st and 3rd shift (12 hours, 2-2-3 schedule)Job DescriptionThe Quality Inspector plays a key role in maintaining product standards by visually inspecting canisters for defects, verifying tray quantities, and moving stock as needed to support smooth production operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, reliable work habits, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesVisually inspect canisters to identify and remove defective or damaged units according to established quality standards.Verify that each tray contains the correct number of canisters and ensure accurate counting at all times.Move and organize stock around the production floor as necessary to support continuous workflow.Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures to maintain consistent product quality.Essential SkillsProven ability to perform visual inspection tasks with strong attention to detail.Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or quality inspection within a production or manufacturing environment.Ability to accurately count and verify quantities of canisters in trays.Good manual dexterity for handling and inspecting small or repetitive items.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience working in a manufacturing or production setting.Familiarity with basic inspection tools or methods used in quality control.Ability to work 12-hour shifts on rotating schedules (day and night).Why Work Here?Employees benefit from a stable production environment that values consistent quality and reliable performance. The position follows a rotating shift system operating from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for day shifts (A and C) and from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for night shifts (B and D). The work involves standing, moving stock, and performing repetitive visual inspections in a fast-paced environment. Steel toe shoes are required as part of the dress code, and employees must follow all safety procedures appropriate for a production setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of De Soto, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
