Quality Inspector - 1st ShiftSterling Heights, MI. $17.00 per hour Temporary assignment with potential of being long-term assignment Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday-Friday (OT and weekend work mandatory based on OEM production schedule - approx. two times per month)Scope of the Quality Inspector PositionGeneral visual inspection of parts (possible lifting up to 40lbs.) or Wire Harness reworkSummary of the Quality InspectorInspect parts per written instruction supplied by customer or CER Management as effectively and efficiently as possibleEssential Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality InspectorInspects designated materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual or dimensional inspection; rejecting and recording unacceptable materialsDocuments inspection results by completing reports and logsMaintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulationsEducation and Experience of the Quality InspectorHigh School Diploma / GED preferredPrevious inspection experience preferredMust have reliable transportationMust be able to stand for long hoursAble to read and writeA successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
