You'll be:Sorting corn to maintain quality of seed and removing discard wasteIdentifying off-type ears, immature or moldy ears, insect damage, crop debris, and junkAbiding by safety policies/procedures and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Maintaining cleanliness of the work environment (sweeping, removing debris, etc.)Moving undamaged seed forward in the drying process to increase quality and reduce foreign materialThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Can stand or sit for long periods and traverse stairsHave good eyesight and can clearly communicate in EnglishHave reliable transportation and consistent attendanceAre comfortable working in an environment with exposure to dust and corn dustCan wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and short sleeve shirtsAre able to pass a drug screen prior to startHold a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
