We're hiring a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to help uphold the high standards our customers count on. You'll work alongside a team of inspectors, collaborating closely while also owning your own inspections to make sure every part and finished product meets spec.Incoming & In-Process InspectionInspect parts arriving through receiving to verify correct product, material type, and quality before they move into productionPerform dimensional checks, surface finish checks, and verify proper component use against specifications, engineering drawings, and routingsRecord heat and lot numbers, inspection results, and completed operations in computer systems and manual recordsFinal & Weld InspectionInspect finished tanks to ensure compliance with code requirements, including weld inspections and final quality checksOperate measuring tools and equipment to verify products meet ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ASME standardsPerform calibration testing on measuring equipment and maintain calibration recordsTeam & Facility SupportCollaborate with a team of inspectors on workload and standards while completing independent inspectionsPartner with other departments to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing methodsAssist with loading/unloading materials; operate forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment, including at elevated heightsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, following all safety policies and proceduresWhat You'll NeedHigh school diploma or equivalent1–2 years of manufacturing experience with sheet metal, preferably in a quality-related role (we're willing to train the right candidate)Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools/equipmentFamiliarity with weld codes and compliance standardsStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and sound decision-makingBasic math and measurement skillsStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently when neededComfortable in a fast-paced environmentPhysical Requirements This role requires being on your feet and walking throughout the facility for extended periods, including access to elevated work areas.
