Job description
We're looking for an experienced Quality Mechanical Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll ensure machined components meet customer and engineering specifications through detailed inspections, CMM programming, and precision measurements.

Location: Tyngsborough, MA
Pay:
$30-$40/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM
Opportunity: Temp-to-Hire
What You'll Do
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
Program and operate CMM equipment
Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements
Document inspection results and maintain quality records
Identify and communicate quality concerns
Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve issues
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
What We're Looking For
Previous inspection experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
Strong blueprint reading skills
Understanding of GD&T principles
Experience using precision measuring tools
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
