Job description
Quality SupervisorThe Quality Supervisor is responsible for implementing and overseeing quality control standards and procedures. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing the quality of products, services, and processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership capabilities are key to success in this position. The schedule follows a Pitman pattern, consisting of rotating 12-hour shifts with every weekend off.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage daily performance of quality control staffLead, motivate, and train QC personnel to achieve departmental and organizational goalsSupport quality department projects and assist Engineering and Manufacturing teams as neededInvestigate customer complaints and implement corrective actionsPromote initiatives to enhance product and process qualityDevelop solutions to eliminate process variation and product defectsMaintain ISO-based quality systemsImplement statistical analysis systems for raw materials, WIP, non-conforming products, and finished goodsEnsure compliance with customer requirementsIdentify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiencyDrive Lean Manufacturing initiatives using available tools and technologiesStay current with professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networkingParticipate in internal and external auditsPrepare and present KPI reportsPerform additional duties as assignedSkillsAbility to work cross-functionallyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent time-management abilitiesCapable of working independently and collaborativelyEffective project management skillsExperience with Lean Manufacturing, JIT, Six Sigma, and Total Quality methodologiesProficiency in Microsoft ExcelTraitsDetail-orientedStrong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and mistake-proofing skillsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent work experience (required)Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance (required)5 years of experience in PV manufacturing or related field (preferred)At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience (required)Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $78,000 - $85,000 annuallyAnnual bonus eligibility up to 10% of salary, based on performance metricsPaid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday)401(k) Retirement PlanMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance PlansHealth Savings Account optionSupplemental and Voluntary Insurance PlansEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Recognition ProgramsEmployee PV Panel Purchase Program
