Quality SupervisorBuzzBallz is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead quality and food safety initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for promoting a culture of quality, ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, and developing a high-performing laboratory and quality team. The Quality Supervisor will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance product quality, support customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with FDA, TTB, and other regulatory requirements.What You'll DoLead and develop Quality Technicians while fostering a culture focused on food safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvementEnsure compliance with company quality standards, FDA regulations, TTB requirements, and food safety programsManage quality assurance processes including inspections, audits, product evaluations, corrective actions, and root cause analysisDrive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfactionSupport product hold, release, rework, recall, and nonconformance processes while maintaining accurate documentation and recordsPartner with Operations and cross-functional teams to identify quality risks, implement preventive actions, and improve manufacturing performanceMonitor key quality metrics and provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to leadershipQualifications/RequirementsRequired:Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, food safety, manufacturing, or related operational environmentsChange management experience with the ability to influence and drive continuous improvement initiativesStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organizationStrong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with computer systems, data analysis tools, and quality management systemsPreferred:Supervisory or people leadership experience within a manufacturing environmentExperience with ISO, HACCP, SQF, GFSI, or other food safety and quality management systemsFood Safety certification or demonstrated experience supporting food safety programs and regulatory complianceKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologiesExperience within food and beverage, alcohol beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related manufacturing industriesPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds without assistanceAbility to distinguish flavors through taste and smell as part of product quality evaluation processesAbility to identify and distinguish colors accuratelyAbility to work in both office and manufacturing environments with moderate noise levelsAbility to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as business needs requireRegular, reliable, in-person attendance is requiredCulture and BenefitsSazerac offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, career development opportunities, tuition assistance programs, and more.Compensation: $75,000 – $95,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and interview performance.Sazerac is committed to equality of opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, veteran status, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, or any other legally protected status.What's Next:After you apply, a recruiter will review your application and reach out to qualified candidates.
