Troy offers a welcoming small?town atmosphere, affordable cost of living, and access to outdoor recreation, making it an attractive place to live and work.ResponsibilitiesAt Post Consumer Brands, the Quality Supervisor helps protect the quality, safety, and integrity of products enjoyed by consumers across the country. Supporting first-shift operations at our Troy facility, this role leads quality assurance activities from raw materials through finished goods.You will guide Quality Technicians, oversee laboratory and product-release processes, and partner with teams across the plant to strengthen food safety, regulatory compliance, sanitation, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on quality leadership with meaningful influence across a fast-paced manufacturing operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, train, coach, and schedule Quality Technicians supporting first-shift quality assurance activities.Reinforce quality standards for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.Oversee daily laboratory activities, analyses, testing programs, product holds, and related quality processes.Manage product sampling, documentation, and release processes in accordance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.Investigate quality discrepancies, identify root causes, and collaborate with plant leaders to implement corrective actions.Support customer complaint investigations and facilitate communication regarding quality concerns.Coordinate sanitation programs, pest-control activities, audit readiness, regulatory inspections, and food-safety initiatives.Deliver and coordinate Good Manufacturing Practices, quality, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points training.Identify and implement improvements to quality assurance, food safety, and sanitation programs.Manage quality-related supplies and contribute to additional quality and plant initiatives as needed.Why You'll Love This Role• Make a visible impact on product quality, food safety, plant performance, and customer satisfaction.• Lead and develop Quality Technicians while expanding your own leadership capabilities.• Partner with manufacturing, operations, sanitation, and quality leaders to solve meaningful challenges.• Help strengthen programs and processes through hands-on problem-solving and continuous improvement.• Build your career with the resources of a large organization and the collaborative attitude of a smaller company.QualificationsLocation & Travel Requirements• This first-shift position is based onsite in Troy, Alabama.• The role works closely with manufacturing, operations, sanitation, and quality teams across the facility.Required Qualifications• Two or more years of experience in food-plant sanitation, quality assurance, or a related manufacturing quality environment.• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.Success in This Role• Lead, coach, and develop team members while reinforcing clear quality expectations.• Work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.• Organize competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.• Communicate clearly and professionally in written, verbal, and interpersonal interactions.• Apply sound judgment, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving to quality concerns.
