From design and manufacturing to on-site installation, our highly skilled team never stops striving to improve.SummaryCollection, inspect, test, and audit materials, processes, or products to ensure conformance. Support quality control functions for the company.Essential FunctionsCollect and deliver product samples from production to QA.Identify and report defects or non-conformances pertaining to the production lines / material to the QA labSealing up gaylords and requesting new gaylords be delivered when fullReplenish Production, QA and other consumable bins when neededAssist with the dispositioning of material.Assist with maintaining quality management documentation.Assist with verification and/or testing of raw materials and finished products to order and required specifications.Contribute to department improvement initiatives.May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assistance in other areas as needed.Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomics standards.Demonstrates Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily actions.Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent education. Previous Quality experience is preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExperience in a production environment is beneficial. Ability to read blueprints and work instructions and maintain accurate records. Proficiency with a computer. Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach.
