Quality Control SpecialistBasic Function:Support Quality Functions in Any of the Production Areas, Including Defect AnalysisPerform Measurements and Part ChecksRecord and Analyze Data Collection and Data Entry for Inspected Parts and Quantity of DefectsPerform PDCA Activity in Production AreasAble to Lead Problem-Solving Activities, Including Whiteboard and Kaizen ActivitiesAssist with training team members on inspection instructions and defects.Complete assigned audits thoroughly and on time.Backup for group lead as necessary.Qualifications and Education Requirements:Basic Computer Skills Such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointBasic Documentation SkillsBasic Measurement SkillsCoachable and Positive AttitudePrompt and Regular AttendanceAble to Work OT on Short NoticePhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, push, pull, and perform physical activities required to support manufacturing operations.Ability to use hands and fingers to operate equipment, tools, computers, and other business systems.Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds independently.Ability to visually inspect products, equipment, and work areas for quality and safety concerns.Ability to communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.DNUS is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
