Quality Technician (2nd Shift; 3pm - 11:30pm)Summary/Purpose The quality assurance technician will support manufacturing and follow policies and procedures related to successful operations.Essential Duties and Accountabilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.Receiving inspectionPerformance testingProduct testingManufacturing troubleshootingAbility to work in a team environmentOther duties as assigned by managementSupervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Metrology and gage calibration experienceKnowledge of GD&T and SPCExperience with SPC, receiving inspection, performance testing, product testing and manufacturing troubleshootingWilling/able to learn to operate and maintain various equipment at an acceptable level with an emphasis on quality, IATF 16949 standard, ISO 14001, safety/environmental, 5S and productivityAbility to understand and demonstrate standard workProficient English communication skillsRegular and punctual attendance is requiredEducation and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent.Work Environment/Physical Demands The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields.
