Quality Technician - 3rd ShiftMain Location - Green Bay, WI 54304OverviewPosition Type Full Time Job Shift 3RD SHIFT-8P-6A Education Level High SchoolDescriptionThe purpose of the Quality Technician position is to ensure the production of high-quality finished products that meet company and customer specifications by controlling in-process parameters and performing quality checks on all finished products. Essential FunctionsEnsure correct label is on the productEnsure correct product is in the bagsUPC VerificationLot code verificationReview packaging for qualityWeight verificationsClean equipment swabsPerform allergen testingInternal GMP inspectionsProduct return reviewAssist with training new employeesQualificationsCompetenciesMust show good communication and organizational skillsAbility to be a team player and work with others as well as individuallyDetail orientedPositive attitude and work ethic with the ability to multi-taskUnderstand standard and metric measurementsMust apply food safety and employee safety guidelines in all performance measuresSupervisory ResponsibilityThere is no supervisory responsibility for this position.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to allergens, moving mechanical parts and vibration as well as equipment. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The work environment is climate controlled.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Full time hour schedule is subject to change with or without notice.
