Quality TechnicianThe Lincoln NE manufacturing plant has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician! As a Quality Technician you will play a key role in supporting Schneider Electric's Quality System and driving improvements to products and processes. This position will include a high level of interaction with other teams such as Production, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design / Continuous Engineering. It is expected that problem analysis and troubleshooting of Quality issues will take a significant portion of your time in this position. 3rd Shift: 10:30PM - 6:51AMWhat will you do?Document Control – and Quality System ManagementIntegrated ISO Management System Audit supportDevelopment and delivery of training documents and methodsToll gate inspection for materials being shipped to sister plantsIncoming inspection support. This would be for vendor changes, quality issues with current vendors, initial shipments from new vendors.Line audit supportPerform FAIRs and LAIRs as needed to support new vendors or product linesSupport in-house product testing requirementsParticipate on PFMEA teamsPPEP supportParticipate / Lead 8D initiatives and continuous improvement activitiesParticipate in Board of Change ActivitiesWhat qualifications will make you successful?You hold an Associates Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Electrical/Electromechanical, Computer Technology, Precision Machining/Automation, Non-Destructive Testing, or equivalent is required - Bachelor Degree PreferredYou have working knowledge of 6 Sigma concepts and methodologies is preferredCertifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six SigmaYou are proficient in structured problem-solving methods (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D)You have experience with quality inspection, auditing and test experienceYou have experience with implementation of corrective action programsYou have product or industry-specific experienceYou have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and DatabasesYou have knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality AssuranceWhat's in it for me?Well-being programs provide the ability to earn rewards through free annual health evaluations, flu shots, health coaching, tobacco cessation and morePaid holidays, PTO without accrual, ability to purchase additional PTOFlexible work arrangements for better work/life balanceWho will you report to?Quality & Customer Satisfaction Manager for Global Supply Chain Lincoln NE FacilityLet us learn about you!
