Job description
Quality Technician - 2nd Shift - Avilla INThe Quality Technician ensures that internal processes are being followed and that finished product meets customer specifications.Responsibilities:Operate CMM programs and interpret data collected.Conduct first piece set-up approvals.Conduct in-process floor audits.Disposition product in the Scrap and Hold Areas daily.Collect, evaluate, and record scrap on each shift.Ensure all documentation is completed correctly.Train operators as needed in gage reading and methods of usage.Assist in PPAP required studies.Academic/Educational Requirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentRequired Skills/Experience:Previous experience running a CMM is required.1-3 years of experience working in Quality in a manufacturing setting preferred.Basic knowledge of quality systems.Basic blueprint reading and GD&T.Basic understanding of quality documentation (control plans, FMEA, Process flow diagrams).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.What Linamar Has to Offer:Competitive CompensationEmployee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental & Vision etc.401k ProgramOpportunities for career advancement.Sustainability CounselCommunity based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.Linamar Corporation is a Canadian-founded global manufacturer, renowned for its advanced engineering and innovative product development across diverse industries and markets.
