Quality TechnicianOur client, an industry leader in manufacturing electro-mechanical components and assemblies, is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Brookshire, TXPay Range: $32hrShift: 1st shift Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday 5am-5pmWhat's the Job?Evaluate parts produced on various lines, including electro-mechanical components, welding, powder coating, and assembly,Flag suspect or nonconforming parts, support containment activitiesSpot and Mig WeldingGuide production teams in proper disposition of parts as good for use, need repair, or scrap, and document defects accurately.Communicate quality issues to engineering and management, escalating unresolved concerns promptly.Develop and implement short- and long-term solutions to address quality problems while maintaining operational efficiency.What's Needed?High level of attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify and differentiate defect types.Spot & Mig Welding or Soldering ExperienceVisual Inspection experienceKnowledge of measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, gauges, and torque wrenches is a plus.Experience with electro-mechanical components, welding, powder coating, or assembly processes is desirable.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs., and working in varied environments.What's in it for me?Medical and Prescription Drug PlanDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
