Review of supplier documentation for conformance to requirements and document Nonconformances. Utilize measurement gauges, inspection instruments, microscope to perform inspections. Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect incoming and in-process parts.Essential Functions:Must be able to obtain a US security clearancePerform mechanical and electrical hardware inspection on incoming material from SuppliersInterpret drawings with Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) to inspect parts with inspection toolsUtilize measurement devices such as Calipers, Height Gauge, Optical Comparator, micrometers and othersInspect part dimensions with CMMAccess drawings and inspection instructions; document non-conformancesVisual inspections using a microscopeOther Duties as assigned.Qualifications:Requires highly developed job knowledge/skillsRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.Experience in Mechanical inspections utilizing inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, surface plate, electronic and mechanical height gauges, comparator).Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining the required security clearanceCMM Experience or certificationPreferred Additional Skills:Experience reading/interpreting engineering drawingsMechanical assembly experience in order to validate assemblies to detailed, complex drawingsCertified to IPC-A-610Experience with AS9100 standardsL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
