A powerful purpose that drives social and interactive customer experiences with a human touch both online and in the physical world.The Quality Inspector will support the Site operations in performing product inspections throughout the facility by ensuring all customer requirements are sufficient throughout the production lifecycle.What you'll do as a Quality Inspector:Inspect product and data collection for various processes (machines) based on intervals set forth by quality procedures.Report inspection findings (good vs bad) in the form of data entry, paper forms and email correspondence.Perform first article inspection (Display Check) and crate inspection report using Word and ExcelAble to read and interpret Job Tickets and Manufacturing PlansAble to conduct testing based on documented proceduresPerform incoming inspection against material specs to determine product complianceAssist Quality Supervisor with determining root cause for customer complaints during the investigation processFollow organizations safety guidelinesCheck to make sure tools and equipment required to run a job are in place and being utilized, as well as within the calibration cycleFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality checklistsPerform accurate counts (inventory, samples)Day to day positive interaction with operators and supervisors, as well as various levels of managementEffectively communicate and proactively address any product or process issues with operators/supervision, and follow up on correctionsAssist the organization during ISO and other 3rd party audits by answering to auditor questionsAssist the organization with performing vendor sign offs (local vendors only)Recommend changes in SOP's, production standards, and other actions that will improve operations based on floor experienceAbility to train othersWilling to self-teach, or attend workshops and seminars to obtain Quality Certifications to be able to advanceWe're looking for a Quality Inspector with:High School Diploma, Associates Degree a plus1 or more years' experience in a manufacturing or printing environmentCorrective action and internal audit experience a plusPhysical requirements/working conditions:Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space (climate controlled).
