A growing precision manufacturer is hiring a Quality Technician to join its day-shift team.You'll inspect precision-manufactured components, identify potential quality issues, and work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high manufacturing standards. Whether you have experience in quality inspection or a CNC machining background with strong inspection skills, we'd like to hear from you!Quality Technician Benefits and Compensation:$24–$28/hour, based on experienceFirst Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5 AM–3 PMFour 10-hour shifts with three-day weekendsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement benefitsPaid time offTraining and professional development opportunitiesLong-term career opportunities with a growing precision manufacturerQuality Technician Requirements & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentHands-on quality inspection experience or comparable precision manufacturing experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and dimensional specificationsExperience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gaugesStrong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills, including decimalsExcellent attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with production, quality, and engineering teamsMust Haves:Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision-manufactured components.Identify out-of-tolerance parts and document nonconforming products before they move forward in production.Select appropriate measuring equipment and verify calibration status.Accurately record measurements, inspection results, and accepted or rejected quantities.Follow established inspection procedures and maintain accurate quality documentation.Consistently work the Monday–Thursday first-shift schedule.Quality Technician Preferred Background & Skills:Previous experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, CNC Machinist, or CMM OperatorHands-on CMM operating experienceWorking knowledge of GD&TExperience inspecting tight-tolerance machined componentsBackground in medical device, aerospace, or precision manufacturingFamiliarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 quality standardsExperience with corrective actions, nonconforming product documentation, or continuous improvement initiativesWhat Success Looks Like:You'll become a dependable member of the quality team who accurately inspects components, catches potential defects early, maintains detailed inspection records, and communicates effectively with production.You don't need to have every preferred qualification. Candidates with strong manufacturing inspection fundamentals and a willingness to develop additional quality skills are encouraged to apply.Additional Position Information:This position does not include relocation assistance. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Lake Mills, WI 53551.This is a direct-hire position.
