Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.nVent is seeking a Quality Technician to support day-to-day quality activities within our Distribution Center in Dayton, MN. This hands on role is responsible for performing inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure products and shipments meet established standards. You'll work closely with Distribution and Logistics teams to help prevent issues and support continuous improvement.What You'll DoPerform inbound and outbound inspections and freight auditsMonitor quality performance across receiving, warehousing, and shipping processesCollect and enter quality data; support routine KPI reportingAssist with containment activities and corrective actionsWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience with quality measurement tools desired1+ year of experience in quality, warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing requiredAbility to obtain stand-up forklift license required within 2 weeks upon starting, prior forklift experience desiredStrong attention to detail and basic math/measurement skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environmentComfortable using computer programs to enter and review dataAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periodsAbility to follow established quality systems, procedures, and safety requirementsThis is 1st shift-Monday-FridayWE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayCommitment to strengthen communities where our employees live and workCore values that shape our culture and drive us to deliver the best for our employees and our customers. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range:$20.40 - $37.80 Per HourDepending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.Benefit OverviewAt nVent, we value our people and their health and well-being.
