If you have automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience and enjoy troubleshooting, inspections, and quality improvement, this is a great opportunity to get hands-on with next-generation EV technology.Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a 2nd shift Quality Technician specializing in GA/Chassis/Battery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our EV platform. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, implementing quality control measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve our production standards. You may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough quality inspections on vehicles.Implement and maintain quality control measures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold production standards.Maintain calibrated test equipment.Prepare and analyze test data.Identify areas for quality control improvement.Essential SkillsExperience in troubleshooting and using test equipment.Proficient in conducting quality inspections on vehicles.Experience in torque applications.Background in automotive or aerospace manufacturing.Proficient in data analysis software.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to conduct root cause analysis.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.3+ years of experience in a similar role.Proficient in the use of inspection and testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.Work EnvironmentThe role initially starts on 1st shift for 1-2 months, transitioning to 2nd shift. Mandatory overtime and Saturday work are required. Candidates must have experience working on large vehicle structures.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Garden Grove, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
