At MPG, your work makes an impact.MPG is seeking to hire an experienced Quality Technician to join our growing and profitable company looking to advance their careers. If you possess the required skills and experience as outlined below, please submit your resume for consideration.Position Responsibilities:Performs repetitive inspections to identify defects and variations from established standards. Non-conforming observations are communicated immediately to operators on production lines so that quality is built into the products being producedResponsible for documenting conformance and non-conforming issues on a predetermined time frameIdentifies incorrect or damaged product before final packaging is completed and sets it aside as a non-conformance productValidates quality processes, measures production standards at critical control points and document findingsFiles daily audit results at the end of each shiftWorks with other members of the team to in an accurate and efficient manner that supports operational excellence and total customer satisfactionPerforms other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unitPosition Qualifications:Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalentTypically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or industrial business environmentMust be very detailed-oriented, computer literate, good communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to lift 15 lbs. and deliver 3 rolls at once every 15 minutesExperience working in production within the printing industry would be very desirableExperience with MIS software such as Excel is desiredWhat to Expect:A highly competitive compensation "above the industry" commensurate with experience which includes an annual incentive bonus plan100% Employer-paid medical, dental base plan, vision, life/AD&D, and short-term and long-term disability, while subsidizing premiums for medical, dental, and vision for employee dependents401(k) Plan with up to a 6% (dollar for dollar) Employer matchHealth Savings/Flexible Spending Account optionsPaid time off, including 10 company-paid holidays, plus 1 floating holidayEmployee Assistance ProgramComprehensive relocation package available for qualified candidatesAnd, much more!Millennium Print Group is an Equal Opportunity EmployerThe duties and responsibilities described above are essential functions of the job.
