Job description
Quality Technician I - 1st ShiftMaintains quality assurance processes, tests product samples, analyzes/records results data and reports issues that deviate from allowable standards/tolerances. Dunk Tank, Water Wall, CTQ, CFA, NDF, QC Flag Process, NCR, QPS, 5S, Kaizen Continuous Improvement.Performs CTQ Audits using SafetyCulture on Tablet PCPerforms CFA Audits using SafetyCulture on Tablet PCTrains Operators to comply with No Defect Forward (NDF)Conduct Frame Weld Strength Testing, as requiredPerform all quality testing as required by AAMA specificationsPerform functional and fabrication checks as required by standard practiceReport issues deviating from allowable tolerances. Generate NCR using Tablet PC.Use Tablet PC to perform quality audits and generate Non-Conforming Reports (NCR)Research and compile data using SafetyCulture and Excel, as requestedUtilize band saw to cut pieces as needed for impact testing and weld strength testingPerform 100% EOLI on vinyl lines, rotating to a different line every 2 weeks.Perform Dunk Tank / Water Wall Tests.Assist Leadership determine root cause of issues using QPS 5 Whys quick problem solving process.Maintain cleanliness, sweep area as neededPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to read and write, use Outlook and Excel on Tablet PC.1 year of manufacturing experience in Windows Manufacturing.Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, micrometers; knowledge about measurement and test equipment,Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office productsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Healthcare benefits starting on your first day of workCompetitive payInclusive, collaborative environmentBragging rights – you'll work for the market leader in multiple product categoriesProfessional development opportunitiesTuition reimbursementGenerous PTOEmployee discount programsOur teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
