Quality Technician IFull-time Simi Valley, CA Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants.Become a Key Player as a Quality Technician IYou will ensure product quality and compliance for the client's aerospace components, directly impacting safety and on-time delivery. You will work onsite on a first shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm) with internal customers, auditors, and cross-functional teams to maintain inspection standards and resolve nonconformances.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamAssist in developing and improving incoming and outgoing inspection processesRead and interpret drawings, specifications, and related documentation to verify partsPerform inspections and create Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR); assign and follow up on corrective actionsEnter transactions to move material and document dispositions, including customer returns and credit requestsParticipate in Corrective Action Teams (CAT) and High Performance Teams (HPT) to identify root causes and corrective actionsMaintain and distribute quality system documentation and support AS9100/ISO compliance activitiesPerform First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102Follow established safety and environmental policies and proceduresHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role4+ years of relevant experienceExposure to FAA 8130 tagsAbility to read blueprints and part drawingsProficiency with gauges, calipers, torque range tools, filler gauges, lead partition gauges, and micrometersExperience with ISO 9001 and Aerospace standards such as AS9100Experience performing First Articles (FAI) per AS9102Comfortable engaging with auditors to support compliance activitiesAssociate in Applied Science degree or high school diploma with equivalent experienceBasic electrical knowledge for testing electrical componentsComputer skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes) and ability to learn business systemsHere's What Else Might Help You OutGeometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5ISO 9001 certificationAS9100/ISO certificationsFamiliarity with AS9102 standardsPay Range$24.00 - $30.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
