You'll be:Performing advanced inspection functions using various devices, such as mics, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, and surface platesConducting assembly and final layout inspections to meet customer requirementsCollecting and reporting detailed part information for PPAP submissions and communicating with customer quality staffInvestigating quality issues and actively leading resolution strategies for internal and customer concernsOperating CMM equipment to inspect complex assemblies and fixturesTraining others in advanced inspection techniques and the use of universals for assembly inspectionThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have at least 5 years of experience using precision measurement tools (mics, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, etc.)Are skilled in reading basic to medium complexity drawings, weld symbols, GD&T symbols, and sketchesCan accurately determine and calculate measurements, tolerances, and are proficient in shop math and TrigonometryHold a high school diploma (or equivalent)Have experience with tube or sheet metal fabrication and inspection (preferred)Are able to pass a setup test and demonstrate strong problem resolution skillsWhat happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
