Our facilities are clean, organized, and fully equipped—offering a professional, modern environment designed to help you build your career.US Rod in Nappanee, Indiana is sourcing for a Quality Technician Inspector.The morning shift position works 5AM - 3:30PM Monday through Friday.Specific ResponsibilitiesPerform material and product tests using quality lab test equipment and formal testing methods.Perform in-process audits and internal audits to verify standard operating procedures are being followed.Maintain quality records and samples per written procedures.Work with production supervisors within a team environment in meeting customer quality requirements and solve quality issues.Communicate effectively with all manufacturing personnel, next shift personnel and others in a professional manner.Assist Quality Manager as directed.Prepare records, reports and enter data to provide documentation and to support Quality department.Education and TrainingHigh school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.ExperienceExperience working in an API Q1/ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus.Knowledge and SkillsExcellent verbal communication skills.Possess basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.Able to follow instructions.Physical and Safety RequirementsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disability to the ability to perform essential job functions.Sitting, bending, standing, walking 8-10 hours per day.Able to lift 25 lbs.Must comply with all safety and PPE requirements.We do not accept calls/inquiries from agencies.
