Job description
Quality TechnicianWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support quality assurance efforts throughout the antenna manufacturing process. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products, components, and assemblies meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to maintain product quality and support continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, subassemblies, and finished products.Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and testing procedures.Use precision measurement tools and inspection equipment to confirm dimensional and functional requirements.Review manufacturing records, inspection reports, test data, and calibration documentation for accuracy and completeness.Identify, document, and properly segregate nonconforming materials according to company procedures.Support root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.Assist with first article inspections and product verification testing as needed.Maintain accurate inspection records, traceability documentation, and quality reports.Ensure inspection tools and test equipment are properly maintained and handled.Communicate quality concerns and findings promptly to supervisors and appropriate departments.Adhere to all safety procedures and quality standards.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Associate degree or technical training is a plus.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and related inspection equipment.Familiarity with quality inspection methods, GD&T, and documentation practices.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality environments.Background in SATCOM, RF, antenna, electronics, or other manufacturing industries.Knowledge of nonconformance reporting and corrective action processes.Experience with ERP systems and quality management software.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspections for extended periods.Ability to lift and move materials and components as needed.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and production activity.Why Apply?Competitive pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hourOpportunity to work with advanced manufacturing and quality systemsHands-on role with career growth potentialTeam-oriented work environment
